The Beaver First Nation is located 67 km east of High Level, Alberta. The Nation is comprised of 2 Indian Reserves – the Boyer River Indian Reserve and the Childs Lake Indian Reserve.  There are approximately 1200 members of the First Nation and approximately 400 members/residents who live on the reserved lands set aside.

The Nation and its Traditional Territory are known as Eleskay (Buffalo Dust)
